Baldur’s Gate 3’s most romanced companion revealed & players are “not surprised”

Baldur’s Gate 3 is regarded as one of the best games this year by many as the title has been nominated for Game of the Year 2023. The devs also made sure to release a new difficulty called “Honour Mode” with the latest Patch 5, along with several new fixes in the game.
Recent data from Larian Studios reveals several important results in Baldur’s Gate 3 and many fans are interested to know about the most romanced character in the RPG. However, the results did not cause any debates among the fanbase as almost everybody agreed with Shadowheart being the chosen winner.
Reddit user ‘Rogen80’ posted about Shadowheart winning the category as they mentioned how she “deserves it.” According to Larian’s official data, 53.1% of players reached the final act of Shadowheart’s romance arc.
The OP did not fail to show how much he “loves her,” as other players agreed. Most of them are “not surprised” that Shadowheart won the category as she has always been regarded as one of the most popular companions in Baldur’s Gate 3.
“Well, she is god’s favorite princess and the most interesting girl in the world after all,” added one of the Shadowheart fans, drawing inspiration from one of her dialogues in the game. Another player said: “Shadowheart seems kinda obvious if you want the most human-looking character.”
However, most players claimed that the reason behind her success is that “most gamers are male” and you prefer an “attractive feminine character” to romance in Baldur’s Gate 3. Some even called the other female options “burning devil girl” and “angry frog lady.”
Baldur’s Gate 3 fans are not surprised when it comes to the rankings as everybody more or less expected Shadowheart to win it. However, they still find it commendable that she could capture 51.3% of the players even with seven other companions available.
