Some Baldur’s Gate 3 weapons are rare because they are carried by people players would usually not find themselves in a fight with. Here is how to get the super rare Svartlebee’s Woundseeker.

Svartlebee’s Woundseeker in Baldur’s Gate 3 can be found in Act 1, and there are a few different ways players can obtain it. It is possible to be peaceful about getting it, and of course, you can fight the person carrying it.

This guide will delve into the peaceful way to obtain the greatsword, where to find it, and what it can do for your playthrough. Here is how to get Svartlebee’s Woundseeker in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Where to find Svartlebee’s Woundseeker in Baldur’s Gate 3

Svartlebee’s Woundseeker in Baldur’s Gate 3 can be found in Waukeen’s Rest on The Risen Road. The weapon is held by Gauntlet Yeva, a Flaming Fist leading the search for Duke Ravengard.

Waukeen’s Rest is located to the north of the map in Act 1, along the Risen Road. Players will likely encounter the small town before traveling to the Mountain Pass to reach the Githyanki Creche.

When players first find and enter Waukeen’s Rest, they will see that the town is on fire. Some Flaming Fists can be found at the door to the inn trying to save Counsellor Florrick. One of these Flaming Fists is Gauntlet Yeva, the owner of Svartlebee’s Woundseeker.

Svartlebee’s Woundseeker grants a +1d4 bonus to wielders who attack enemies that are already injured. It does 2d6 +4 slashing damage normally and users can Pommel Strike, Lacerate, and Cleave with the weapon.

How to peacefully get Svartlebee’s Woundseeker in Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 players can obtain Svartlebee’s Woundseeker peacefully by casting the Command Drop spell on Gauntlet Yeva

In most playthroughs, it is unlikely that you will attack the Flaming Fists in Waukeen’s Rest. As a result, most players don’t get Svartlebee’s Woundseeker, as many don’t know that it is something you can get in the first place.

If you don’t want to start a fight with Gauntlet Yeva – which is especially important in a good-aligned playthrough – there is a way to get the weapon without causing a fuss. All players need to do is enter turn-based mode and cast Command Drop on her.

Command Drop is a level 1 enchantment spell that forces the target to drop their weapon and do nothing else. There is, however, a specific order of things you need to do to ensure you get the greatsword.

Svartlebee’s Woundseeker has some incredibly useful stats that make it a powerful weapon

Here is the exact order of how to do things to ensure you get Svartlebee’s Woundseekeer:

  1. Enter turn-based mode.
  2. Cast Command Drop on Gauntlet Yeva.
  3. Break down the door to the Inn before she can pick the greatsword back up, which will make all the Fists run inside to rescue Florrick.
  4. Save Florrick and pick up the sword after she sends the Fists away.

It is important to remember that you have to enter turn-based mode and make sure that you break the door down before Yeva has a chance to pick the sword back up. If you want to rescue Florrick, it is also essential to finish the quest and not take a long rest before you do, otherwise Florrick could be lost to the flames.

While it may seem like a lot of effort to get Svartlebee’s Woundseeker, the greatsword is a very good weapon to pick up early in the game. Especially for hard-hitting characters like Lae’zel, its stats are good enough that you could find yourself using it well into Act 3.

You can, of course, just kill the Flaming Fists and get the sword that way. This decision wouldn’t work for a good playthrough though, and will hinder your relationship with characters like Wyll and Karlach.
