Apex Legends Wraith trick makes Gravity Cannons crazy powerful

An Apex Legends player has found an incredible trick with Wraith that increases the distance at which you travel when taking a Gravity Cannon.

Apex Legends Season 14 has been full of surprises, with players jumping out of closed Supply Bins, Wattson gaining a secret buff, and Respawn finally fixing the missing Battle Pass rewards issue.

Now, players have discovered another trick, and this time it’s for one of the most popular Legends in Apex, Wraith.

Usually, it’s Horizon who is the Queen of the Gravity Cannons on Storm Point thanks to her Passive which prevents the fall stun. However, it seems players have discovered some sort of glitch/exploit that makes Wraith travel much further with the cannons than any other Legend.

Redditor Falcon_International is the player responsible for highlighting this trick over on the Apex Legends subreddit, saying “I think I either found a brand new Wraith Mechanic, or I broke the game.”

The trick sees the player using Wraith’s Tactical and facing backward while taking a Gravity Cannon, sending the Legend much further than it usually would.

One of the examples in the clip sets the player flying over Storm Catcher, reaching massive heights while healing themselves.

It’s unclear exactly how this exploit is performed, as even the OP states that he does this action everyday, but “never encountered it till last night.” Some suggest it could be due to “high ping,” which could be making the player “launch multiple times.”

Other suggest that it could be due to “zero wind resistance in the phase mode,” or “increased speed in phase,” but nothing is conclusive.

This trick seems rare, so it’s unlikely to be rampant in the community, so it may not be a priority for Respawn, but for those Wraith mains, you may want to give it a try and see if you can pull it off before a fix comes.
