Apex Legends have released the final Collection Event for Season 17 known as Neon Network. Here are all of the details, including Valkyrie’s Prestige skin and the full collection of cosmetics.

The Apex Legends Dressed to Kill Collection Event was the first to land in Season 17, bringing the Horizon Heirloom, new skins, and even balance changes for both weapons and Legends.

Since the first event, players have been eager to see what the next Collection Event will bring in Season 17, and the devs have now officially released the Apex Legends Neon Network Collection Event.

Here are all of the details on Season 17’s final Apex Legends Collection Event.

Apex Legends Neon Network Collection Event release date

The Apex Legends Neon Network Collection Event will run from July 21 to August 8, 2023. The update arrived around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.

This gives players two weeks to enjoy the event and unlock all of the cosmetics they want until it comes to an end. This is the last Collection Event in Season 17.

Apex Legends Valkyrie Prestige skin & event skins

As always, there are 24 items in the Collection Event, as well as a Mythic Prestige skin which is for Valkyrie this time around.

The skin, which is called Apex Interceptor, will feature three stages of evolution, a unique finisher, and a dive trail, which is usable on all Legends after you complete the third tier.

The evolution tiers have the same challenges as the other Prestige skins:

  • Tier 1: obtained after unlocking
  • Tier 2: Deal 30,000 damage with Legend
  • Tier 3: Deal 100,000 damage with Legend

As well as Valkyrie’s Prestige skin, the Neon Network Collection Event also brought a new set of 24 cosmetics, including Legend and weapons skins that match the neon network theme.

The Legendary skins are for Caustic, Lifeline, Ballistic, Ash, Vantage, and Gibraltar. The event will also bring matching Legendary weapon skins for the Havoc, Flatline, P2020, L-STAR, Sentinel, and Volt.

Apex Legends Node Tracker, Compute Nodes & Reward Shop

There is also a new Node Tracker item in non-ranked battle royale matches which players can use to “detect, locate the optimal location to connect, and hack into leads across the map to receive loot and Compute Nodes.”

These Compute Nodes are the event’s currency, which players can use in the event’s reward shop for exclusive cosmetics.

Apex Legends Kill Code: A Thief’s Bane

Players will get the chance to play a unique mode during the Neon Network Collection Event called Kill Code: A Thief’s Bane.

You will play as Loba, as she breaches a “facility that may have started the interruption to her childhood,” which is, of course, referencing the death of her parents at the hands of Revenant. Perhaps this is a teaser for the leaked Season 18 rework of Revenenant known as Revenant Reborn.
