Warzone Pacific Season 3’s May 4 update brought major buffs to the STG44, which ZLaner now feels is a top-tier AR option, especially with his loadout.
Warzone Pacific Season 3‘s weapon buffs and nerfs have no doubt shifted the meta across the weapon categories. As well as huge changes for the Sniper Rifles, bringing the HDR back into the light, the Assault Rifle meta has also changed.
Although the STG44 kicked off Season 1 as a meta weapon, the AR slowly disappeared as better options were discovered. Having said that, the AR received some pretty big buffs in the May 4 update, increasing its headshot and neck damage multipliers, as well as its maximum/minimum damage output.
According to ZLaner, out of all the Vanguard weapons that received buffs in the May 4 update, the STG44 had the “most damage increase.”
These buffs have ultimately led to Warzone pro ZLaner claiming that the STG44 is now “a slapper,” especially with his new loadout for it.
ZLaner Warzone STG44 loadout
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: VDD 760MM 05B
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: VDD 34S Weighted
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 8mm Kurz 60 Round Drum
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk 1: Vital
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
This loadout is built for making the STG44 a dominant, mid to long-range weapon. The VDD 760MM 05B barrel received a buff to bullet velocity in the Season 3 update, making it a great choice for the loadout.
This coupled with the Lengthened Ammunition makes the STG44’s bullet velocity extremely good, meaning you’ll be hitting your shots first, even at longer ranges.
As well as this, the MX Silencer is a no-brainer, as this too increases bullet velocity, while also keeping you discreet on the map while you gun enemies down.
The Polymer Grip and M1941 Hand Stop will reduce the STG44’s recoil, allowing you to control the weapon easily and stay on target.
ZLaner claims this particular class set up for the STG44 is a “slapper,” going on to secure almost 30 kills in a single Rebirth Island game with it, so you’ll definitely want to check it out.
