Since Season 3 went live, many Warzone 2 players have been reporting that their custom loadouts have been reset between matches, and the devs have finally responded to the issue.

Warzone 2 Season 3 introduced plenty of new content to the CoD battle royale, from brand-new weapons like the iconic Intervention from 2009 to the long-awaited arrival of one-shot Sniper Rifles.

However, it also introduced a number of issues that fans have been running into. These range from one-off bugs where players are trapped in the Gulag for an entire match, to server issues that majorly disrupt the experience.

Another problem that has become much more common since the arrival of Warzone 2 Season 3 is custom loadouts being reset between matches. Now, the devs have finally issued a response.

On April 25, Raven Software confirmed on Twitter that they were “investigating an issue causing Player’s Custom Loadouts to be reset.” The glitch is also marked as “investigating” on their official Trello board.

Many players have noticed either between matches, or when calling in a loadout drop mid-game, that their custom weapon builds had been returned to default, removing all of the meta attachments they had equipped.

This obviously puts them at a huge disadvantage as they are unable to use the loadout they created until the match is over and they can re-apply the correct muzzles, scopes, and more.

Some players even responded to the tweet claiming that they have been encountering the problem long before Warzone 2 Season 3, with a few claiming it has been affecting them since launch.

“There’s no shot this has gone unnoticed for FIVE MONTHS,” said one reply, with another agreeing: “Been happening to me since the season 2 update. If I back out or get kicked or have my game crash in multi or WZ, all the attachments get stripped off my guns.”

The devs didn’t give any indication as to what is causing the Warzone 2 loadout reset bug, or how long a fix will take, but players will no doubt be relieved to hear that Raven are looking into it.
