Warzone 2 players have discovered a Buy Station bug that allows them to purchase a Loadout Marker just like in the original.

Infinity Ward and Raven Software decided to make drastic changes to the Call of Duty battle royale, distinguishing Warzone 2‘s gameplay from the original.

These changes have caused a fair amount of controversy, with some wanting old features to return as well as tweaks to the new Backpack looting system. One of the most significant changes that shocked players was the way in which Loadouts can be obtained in Warzone 2.

Originally in WZ1, players could purchase a Loadout Drop Marker from Buy Stations to obtain their desired custom classes, but in Warzone 2 this privilege was removed.

While players have been completing Strongholds and waiting for the Loadout Drop event in-game to get their custom classes, some players have discovered a Buy Station bug that allows them to purchase a Loadout Drop Marker just like in the original.

TikTok user shockmcc discovered this bug while in a game of Warzone 2, and decided to post a clip. In the video, the player finds a Loadout Drop Marker as the final option in the Buy Station.

In shock, the player announces this to their team, dropping it on the floor so others can see that they are not lying. The squad then uses the Loadout Drop Marker and it works just as it would in WZ1, allowing the squad to get their Loadouts nice and easy.

Not only is it pretty crazy that a bug like this exists in-game, but the Loadout Drop Marker cost the player just $2000, which is extremely cheap.

This has left the community wondering why a bug like this exists, and whether there is a plan to bring Loadout Drop Markers back to Buy Stations in Warzone 2. It’s unclear, but as Warzone 2 is an evolution of the original, it’s not a massive surprise to see a bug like this in the game.
