Starfield players claim to have found a secret location which they claim is a “gold mine” filled with tons of loot. They claim that it’s a great place to earn money fast, thanks to the contraband, some valuable weapons, and even a free ship.

Starfield players seem to have stumbled upon a “gold mine” of loot in a relatively lesser-known location. If you’re eager to earn money in the game, this might be a good place to explore. Starfield players are always looking to make money, whether by farming through one of the many tried and tested methods, or by exploiting money glitches.

Now, Redditor baberlay went on the Starfield subreddit to post about a location that might solve all your money problems. This place is called “Vulture’s Roost,” and it’s located on Jaffa IV in the Jaffa system. It’s a heavily guarded drinking hole frequented by Ecliptic mercenaries, and it almost serves as their base of operations.

To get the quest for the loot location, you’ll have to kill an Ecliptic mercenary in Starfield. Search for them and you’ll find a slate that gives you a mission marker to “Go to the Vulture’s Roost.” It’s a random item that will reveal the Vulture’s Roost location. However, you’ll still have to find Jaffa IV manually and scan it.

The mercenaries here are a tough bunch, but if you manage to beat them, you’ll be handsomely rewarded. The OP “walked away with over 30 pieces of contraband, some insanely good and valuable weapons, and even a free ship (the Dagger).”

You’ll also be needing a “healthy supply of digipicks to unlock doors, safes, and contraband chests to unlock everything.”

If you want to save your digipicks or don’t like the lockpicking minigame, you have other options. As one user pointed out, the key to the quarters is in the toilet. Meanwhile, another mentioned that “there’s a safe with keys to all five rooms.”

Starfield player PrinceOsi then explained that “this safe is locked in a room behind a novice lock door on the first floor of the bar.”

Contraband is difficult to find in the game because it only appears as unique loot and does not respawn. If you need quick money in Starfield, The Vulture’s Roost might very well be a treasure trove for you.
