Pokemon Scarlet and Violet gives players the chance to catch better creatures in Raids, but this young trainer surprised everyone by getting a perfect Pokemon on their first try.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players have a lot to do thanks to a main game full of Pokemon battles, colorful characters, and interesting lore for the whole franchise. With the arrival of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, trainers got even more content and a bigger Pokedex thanks to Kitakami Island and the Blueberry Academy.

What’s more, after finishing all the single-player activities in the main storyline, players can keep grinding with Tera Raid Battles. These Raids are usually headlined by powerful Pokemon with great IVs, but trainers have to tackle many of these to get the perfect specimen they’re after.

This wasn’t the case, however, with a young trainer who got the best Eevee they could ask for on their first try.

Reddit user ‘BestMateAUS’ shared a post titled “My son asked if this was good…” and showcased the Eevee his son caught with “Amazing Stats” or, in other words, 6 perfect IVs. That could be all, but the player was also lucky enough to get this perfect Pokemon in shiny form.

Other players quickly responded to this amazing luck, saying things like, “Female, Shiny, 6IV from a 5 star raid? Yeah, just Hit Jackpot,” and “he just won the eevee lottery. perfect stats and shiny.”

Other players were wondering what are their plans for that Eevee, especially concerning its evolution. Many shared their favorite Eeveelution in the game, like Vaporeon and Sylveon, while others thought it was best to keep the Pokemon nature and shiny design in mind as well. “Umbreon, perfect nature,” commented one user, while another stated that Leafeon was the best choice, considering its Tera Type.

The Reddit post also generated a different discussion in which many players believe the young trainer participated in a “genned Raid.” Other users then explained: “They’re not artificial, but it’s bots reseting until they find certain raids, which are usually a ton of herba/items, shiny, 6 IV or all of the above.”

While that might have been the case, another user stated, “the kid doesn’t need to know that. I’m happy for them.”
