Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players desperate for popular Legends Arceus feature to be added

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have an incredibly huge map to explore, but somehow, players are not quite pleased with the transport options in the game. Here’s what the community is saying about adding more rides to the games.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet had quite a great run for the past year and are ready to take things up a notch with the upcoming launch of its second DLC: The Indigo Disk. Fans of the Pokemon franchise are eager to explore Blueberry Academy and meet the many Pokemon being added with the expansion.

But for some trainers, exploring the world of Pokemon feels a little bit disappointing, considering that the only means to explore the map are either Koraidon or Miraidon. Some players think that there should be more rides in the game.

Reddit user ‘themiamian’ posted this and said: “I wish you could have different ride Pokémon.” And then dropped some ideas on how Game Freak could improve the “mount” experience in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: “Each Pokémon would fit into at least one of these categories: Gliding, Climbing, Swimming, Walking/Running.”

For example: flying Pokemon could play the role of flying mounts, as it happened in previous games like Pokemon Legends Arceus. Another trainer confirmed this by saying: “My thought is that you need to play Legends Arceus lol. They have exactly what you’re talking about.”

The trouble behind themiamian’s request is that implementation for such a feature could be “a nightmare for the devs,” like many users expressed.

Another user made quite a reasonable suggestion: “If we could customize our dragon rides it would be perfect. I mean there’s plenty of cyclizar stationed around paldea with motorbike seats on them.”

But the problem remains the same: in the unlikely case that Game Freak decides to add mount skins or something similar to the game, it will require a lot of time and effort from the designers, and that translates into a myriad of design issues, not to mention bugs and the subsequent fix implementation.
