With the upcoming two-part Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC titled The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, there’s a lot of content coming to the games, including all of the starter Pokemon from previous generations.

It makes sense that trainers in every generation have their favorite starters, as starter Pokemon have always been the first contact with a new Pokemon region. Choosing a starter is an experience that has marked every trainer from the first to the latest introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Now, we have confirmation that the second part of the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC, titled The Indigo Disk, will include the return of all of the starter Pokemon across each generation.

During the Pokemon World Championships, The Pokemon Company revealed an S&V DLC trailer featuring many of the new Pokemon that will soon be available.

In this trailer showcased during the Pokemon Worlds event, we can see that each area of The Indigo Disk is divided into what looks like habitats, and in those habitats, we will meet the iconic starter Pokemon from previous generations.

We are yet to see if The Indigo Disk DLC will have similar spawn mechanics to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, with Pokemon appearing in packs and map alerts popping up in the upper right corner of the screen. For the moment, that is all the information we know about the starter Pokemon.

The Pokemon Company also showcased more info about Raging Bolt and Iron Crown, the Paradox forms of Raikou and Cobalion, and it seems that they will also feature their own signature moves: Thunderclap and Tachyon Cutter.
