Pokemon Van Gogh Museum Collaboration

The Pokemon Company have revealed this incredible crossover between their flagship franchise and the Van Gogh Museum. It includes several art pieces and TCG promotional cards. Sunflora lovers, brace yourselves.

The Pokemon Company revealed its newest crossover collaboration, and this time it will be with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The collection will be inspired by the artist’s most iconic paintings, including several of his self-portraits, and of course, many flowery vases.

In the promotional video, we can see that Eevee and Pikachu are prancing through a field of sunflowers, and the scene then becomes quite surrealist when Sunflora steals the spotlight and starts to dance around.

This collaboration was announced through The Pokemon Company’s X (formerly Twitter) account and reveals exclusive merchandise being rolled out through the official Pokemon Center site.

The official timetable and release for this collaboration will be between September 28, 2023, and January 7, 2024.

Aside from the release date, there’s not much information about specific products that could be available. We still don’t know if it is going to include a full set or stick to the release of individual cards. We will keep you informed if more details are revealed.

Interestingly enough, one of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Gym Leaders is actually inspired by Van Gogh, which may have foreshadowed the crossover.

If you’re thinking of getting your hands on a Van Gogh-themed Pikachu TCG card, this is your chance. For players wanting to know more about this crossover, we will keep you in the loop about every new detail that comes up.

In the meantime, you can check out all the new TCG Cards available in the Obsidian Flames collection, or all the details about the Pokemon TCG Raging Surf set.
