Serebii’s webmaster, Joe Merrick, on Twitter, shared the image of the Charizard ex card in the Pokemon TCG Obsidian Flames set. It shows the iconic Pokemon with a Dark Tera-type and boasting a crystal-like appearance, due to the Terastallization phenomenon.

What are Tera Pokemon in Pokemon TCG?

Pokemon TCG Obsidian Flames has introduced the first Tera Pokemon in TCG. This includes Charizard ex (Darkness), Tyranitar ex (Lightning), Dragonite ex (Dragon), and Eiscue ex (Fire).

Charizard ex is set to be a Darkness card. So it will come with Fire attack costs and a weakness to the Grass-type in Pokemon TCG.
