A Pokemon Go player asked the community for advice, and they shared a simple but effective method to skip Team Rocket Leader fights.

One of the many Pokemon Go‘s PvE mechanics involves fighting against Team Go Rocket and their Leaders. To complete certain missions, Pokemon trainers are required to beat each one of them. The problem is that oftentimes, the same Rocket Leader keeps appearing over and over again.

That’s why many players often ask: “Can I skip this fight?” Or, like Reddit user ‘CornylscCool,’ expressed: Is there a way to refresh which leader I have to fight?”

This player posted their doubts in the Pokemon Go subreddit, and the community quickly shared some pro advice on how to skip undesired Rocket Leader fights.

The problem started when the OP was stuck with Sierra, one of the Team Go Rocket Leaders in Pokemon Go, appearing on their screen over and over: “For both last night and today it keeps asking me to battle Sierra, but I need the other two for quests.”

One of the members of the community offered a good tip on how to skip this fight: “You can either wait for the next balloon to appear (they appear every 6 hours) or you can go find a PokeStop that is marked as having a leader there.”

Another Pokemon Go player also added important info to this tip: “Just check in at 0, 6, 12 and 18:00. They refresh every 6 hours if there is no rocket event.”

So there you have it: next time you are struggling to find the correct Team Rocket Leader, you can use these tips to skip undesired fights.

And in case you are trying to beat some of these Team Rocket Leaders, here’s a guide on how to beat Sierra in Pokemon Go, and here’s the best way to defeat Team Go Rocket Leader Cliff.
