Pokemon Go players demand changes to feature bringing “a lot of disappointment”

Hatching Eggs is one of the most popular features in Pokemon Go, but lately, players feel that this gimmick is not returning positive results at all. Even more so since the launch of the paid Eggs-Pedition Access.

Pokemon Go is undergoing some serious changes with the implementation of new gimmicks during the Timeless Travels season. One of them is the addition of a new monthly event ticket called Eggs-Pedition Access, which grants a lot of bonuses and one extra incubator per day for trainers who purchase it.

But for Pokemon trainers, hatching Eggs is all about the sweet reward at the end of the line, quite literally, as they need to travel long distances to make the Eggs hatch. But what happens when players hatch Egg after Egg and never get the desired results?

Here’s what the community says about Pokemon Go’s merciless RNG, which has left thousands of players stranded with useless Pokemon, even after spending time, money, and their shoe soles.

The OP posted this on the Pokemon Go subreddit and said: “Hatching twelve 12km eggs (but I’ll actually show you what I got.” Then, showcased the results of hatching those 12km Eggs with the Eggs-Pedition Access bonus incubators and said: “Spoiler: don’t waste your money on this.” Needless to say, the results were not what the OP was expecting.

The community gathered to slam this event ticket, and since its release, they have noticed a significant decrease in the ratio at which 3-star Pokemon spawn from Eggs. One of the players commenting on the OP’s poor luck said: “I would instantly transfer the lot, which is why I don’t do incubators.”

Another of the players commented: “7 2* and 5 3*. I’d be disappointed.” Another disappointed Pokemon Go fan said: “Midly infuriating, isn’t it? I don’t care to get many 12k eggs anymore.”

Most of the players commenting on the post also narrated a myriad of similar experiences, where hatching Eggs (especially 12 and 10km ones) throw less-than-average rewards at them. Most of these angry Pokemon Go fans have expressed they want a change in the reward ratio for the higher Egg tiers.

For the moment, there is no solid evidence that the hatch rates have been modified by Niantic. But in case this proves to be correct, we will let you know.
