Pokemon Go players baffled by ‘worst Box Ever’ offered in store

Pokemon Go has a myriad of useful items that trainers employ to boost their Pokemon-catching experience, like Star Pieces or Lucky Eggs. The most sought-after items are sold in packs through the Item Store, and players invest a great deal of PokeCoins purchasing those Boxes.
However, some Pokemon trainers have found that the Veteran Box, sold in the most recent Box sale in Pokemon Go, is not up to standards in both pricing and content. One of the members of the Pokemon Go Reddit community has shared this, and most players concluded this box could be ‘the worst’ they have seen:

Reddit user ‘BidoofJesus13’ has shared this post and sparked the debate, which has led many players to carefully think about the pros and cons of the Veteran Box offered in the Pokemon Go Store. One of them has concluded: “That is indeed the worst box I’ve ever seen.”
But, what is the reasoning behind this conclusion? Well, some of the members of the Pokemon Go community have voiced out their reasons for believing this is the worst Box ever offered in the game store.
First, the pricing. Most of them believe that 750 is quite an exaggerated price for a Berry Box. One of them expressed it this way: “750 poke coins? Niantic done lost their damn mind.”
Second, the content. Most of the players agree that berries are items that you get by simply spinning PokeStops, are easily obtainable in-game, and most users discard them when their item box is full. As Reddit user ‘MorningPapers’ says: “Yes please, let me give you coins for things I will just delete.”
An alternative would have been to offer the higher tier version of those berries: The Golden Rasp Berries and Silver Pinap Berries, which are very sought-after by many veteran and new players.
