Pokemon Go player provides tips to finding Zygarde Cells for frustrated community

Zygarde three forms Pokemon Go

Following the launch of Routes, many Pokemon Go players are still trying to finish the Zygarde Research. It seems like Zygarde Cells are hard to spot and obtain in Pokemon Go.

The Blaze New Trails event and the debut of Zygarde in Pokemon Go have left players with a bittersweet taste. Many have complained about several issues, including the Routes feature not working properly, or not being there at all.

On July 21, Niantic responded to a tweet, assuring players that despite the issues, Routes was still “being rolled out,” which may have caused problems. However, the Pokemon Go community is anxious about not being able to collect Zygarde Cells.

A Reddit thread made by the user ‘ufovictim’ has referred to the issue of Zygarde Cells not spawning or being difficult to locate, providing insightful observations about their collection and spawn ratios.

According to ‘ufovictim’ Zygarde Cells always spawn “close by the Route” and not directly on top of it. The animation of the spawn is also slightly different from that of regular Pokemon, like a “swirl of green light.”

They continues to state that they do “not know the exact spawn ratio of Pokemon to Cells,” but according to their own experience, they think that it is close to 1:5 (20% ratio). There’s also talk about a Pokemon Go player finding a “super cell,” that granted them 3 cells when acquired.

Ufovictim also explains that there seems to be “a daily cap” that is close to 3 cells per day. They also warn other users that speed-running Routes may be a viable strategy, however, players should take their “time as you explore a longer route,” which could produce similar results.

We hope that this advice keeps piling up as more Pokemon Go players find everything there is to know about Zygarde Cells.
