Released with the ‘From A to Zygarde’ Special Research, Zygarde is the carrot in the stick for players to try this new feature. However, collecting Zygarde Cells is nowadays one of the hardest things to accomplish in Pokemon Go.
This Pokemon Go player has an even more powerful incentive to use the Routes feature, yet refuses to even try. Why? You might ask, and the answer is simple: “It’s too bothersome.”
This was posted by Reddit user ‘Jooosh,’ in the Pokemon Go subreddit, as they stated: “So lucky to have gotten this but never bothered to grind the cells because of how unnecessarily long it takes.”
The OP also explained why he believes he will never complete the collection challenge, and the community was immediately split between those who support his decision and those who think they are in the presence of a “lazy player.”
One of the players commenting on this post said: “I don’t know how you aren’t motivated to get this to its max potential.” And another one answered: “This would definitely get me out there finding cells. The satisfaction after collecting all of them!”
However, not everyone believes that the OP’s problem is a lack of motivation. When questioned by some players about the purpose of his complaint, one of them answered: “Because you have to collect 250 cells and you can only get 3 per day which is also not a guaranteed spawn.”
Another player defending the OP’s standpoint also expressed: “Routes and cells are one of the most useless and boring features this game offers.”
