Pokemon fans horrified at monstrous ‘Fuse all Pokemon challenge’ results

Pokemon fans in the Reddit community are trying to create a new Pokemon, fusing all Pokemon from Generation 1 Pokemon into a single body, and they’ve found the results are “horrifying” but also “one of the best things on Reddit.”

A Reddit user named TB_Mumpitz came up with a pretty strange idea: the ‘Fuse all Pokemon Challenge.’ Most of the Pokemon community fans were skeptical at the beginning but soon, they got enthusiastic about the idea, throwing the weirdest of suggestions to merge all the Gen 1 Pokemon into one.

The results were monstrous, and fans are horrified to see that, even now, at only one-third of the Gen 1 Pokemon fused, the chimera they created is coming to life. But most of the community seems to be having lots of fun by shaping this “sin against Arceus.”

With admirable patience, TB_Mumpitz has pieced together 33 of the 151 1st Generation Pokemon so far, taking the most upvoted suggestion in the post, and re-posting the results daily. Here’s what we got so far:

As you can see, the latest ‘addition’ to this monster was replacing Arbok’s mouth with Golbat’s lower jaw and fangs. Truly the stuff of nightmares. TB_Mumpitz event went as far as to post each of the changes made so far since the challenge began.

The community called the results of the Fuse All Pokemon Challenge “horrifying” and some are even saying it belongs “among the best things on Reddit.”

Some are now suggesting “adding Hitmonlee’s legs under Gyarados neck.” While another user suggested “adding Mewtwo’s arms to Arbok, to complement Mr. Mime’s arms popping out of Dragonair’s body.”

It remains to be seen if TB_Mumpitz and the Reddit community will finish this challenge before the whole ‘structure’ collapses. But if they manage to fuse all 151 1st Generation Pokemon, it will be something we have never seen before.

While we wait for the final results, you can check out how many Pokemon are known to date. Or you can also learn everything you need to know about Pokemon Go’s upcoming spotlight hours.
