Overwatch 2 devs reveal details on “cute” Season 4 Support Hero
Overwatch 2 Season 4 is set to bring a brand-new Support Hero to the game, and finally, the devs have officially revealed more details.
Overwatch 2 is host to an abundance of characters, all with unique personalities and abilities. One of the highlights of a new update for Overwatch 2 players is the prospect of a new Hero, which provides a new playstyle to master and could spice up the game’s meta.
The last character to be introduced was Ramattra, a Hero who definitely gave players something new in the Tank category. Overwatch 2 Season 4 will bring a new character, but who are they and what are their abilities?

Overwatch 2 Season 4 Hero release date & details revealed
The Overwatch 2 devs have officially confirmed that the new Hero arriving in the Season 4 update on April 14, 2023, will be a Support character.
Further, during a Twitch stream, OW2 devs were discussing the new Season 4 Hero, when they described them as “cute,” in a similar fashion to Mercy rather than the cuteness of Wrecking Ball. One of the devs also described them as a “kid,” so from this, we can assume that the new character will likely be a human Hero.
They also revealed that the new Overwatch 2 Season 4 Support Hero will have “mechanics that will be really interesting to watch unfold in high-level games,” which points to more sophisticated abilities and a playstyle with a lot of depth.
This is compounded by another comment from a dev during the stream, who said that the new Support character is “completely unique and different to anything we’ve done in Overwatch before.”
