Overwatch 2 follows the free-to-play model, meaning you can spend endlessly on cosmetics. Some of the best skins for your Heroes have the Mythic rarity, and here’s a list of all Mythic skins in Overwatch 2 and how to get them.

Like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Warzone, Overwatch 2 has become free-to-play and has a massive library of skins. Unsurprisingly, the price of a skin usually depends on its rarity and although there are plenty of great options in the Common, Rare, and Epic rarities, it is hard to compete with the Mythic skins.

Mythic skins not only have the most intricate and flashy designs, but you can further alter them in many ways. Only a handful of Heroes have Mythic skins as of Overwatch 2 Season 8, and many players worldwide are waiting for the Mythic skins for their favorite Heroes.

On that note, let’s take a look at all the Mythic Skins in Overwatch 2 and how to get them.

What are Mythic skins in Overwatch 2?

Mythic skins have overtaken Legendary as the rarest items in Overwatch 2, and they offer a greater level of customization for those dedicated enough to unlock them. Whereas other outfits for characters have a set appearance, Mythic skins have multiple layers that can be edited by the player.

This means you can customize the look, color, and even the particle effects of the skin to stand out from the crowd. It’s an exciting change with plenty of potential as Overwatch 2 grows, and gives players even more control over their most beloved characters.

How to unlock all Mythic skins in Overwatch 2

You can unlock Mythic skins in Overwatch 2 by grinding the Battle Pass as quickly as possible because these cosmetics are usually the Tier 80 reward. Although some styles for Ana and Tracer’s Mythic skins were available in lower tiers, you had to get to Tier 80 to unlock all the desired cosmetics.

Yes, Blizzard revealed in Blizzcon 2023 that they’ll bring back Overwatch 2 Mythic skins in 2024. With a Battle Pass rework, all Premium Battle Pass buyers will get the option to choose a Mythic skin that they’ll get upon reaching Tier 80.

However, if you choose an old Mythic skin like Zeus Junker Queen or A-7000 Wargon Ana, you won’t be able to get the current season’s Mythic skin. Long story short, you’ll get one Mythic skin per season and unlike the past, you’ll have the option to grind for your favorite from the list mentioned above.

Many believe that old Mythic skins will return to Overwatch 2 with Season 9, but there’s no official confirmation yet. We’ll update this space with the latest information, so make sure to bookmark it and check back.
