How to unlock MG 82 LMG in Warzone & Cold War
Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War added the powerful MG 82 LMG, so here is how you can unlock the MG 82 in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
Warzone Season 5 is officially here, with the game’s new Battle Pass introducing two new weapons in the EM2 and TEC-9 for players to add to their loadout.
Of course, the new season and Battle Pass means the MG 82 LMG is no longer available to unlock by ranking up during the season. The gun certainly packs a punch and is definitely a weapon that can work in your loadout, regardless of whether you play Warzone or Black Ops Cold War.
With this in mind, here is everything you need to know to unlock the MG 82 LMG in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War during Season 5 and beyond.
How to unlock MG 82 in Warzone and Cold War
Community members will find that this new LMG can be unlocked by completing an unlock challenge that you can find below:
- Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer/Warzone: Using LMGs, kill 3 or more enemies without reloading in 15 different completed matches
- Black Ops Cold War Zombies: Using LMGs, kill 250 enemies that are stunned by your Tesla Storm
Once they have completed this challenge, they will have this new LMG available to level up and use in all of their future battles.
There will also likely be store bundles players can acquire from the in-game store that will contain blueprints for this weapon, which will automatically unlock the MG 82 for players to use in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
According to the official description of this LMG, it is a “full-auto light machine gun. Highest fire rate in class with improved aiming speed. Moderate recoil and damage with increased ammo capacity.”
There will undoubtedly be plenty of players unlocking this weapon if they were not able to during Season 4 to see if it will become a leader in the meta or a weapon they will stay away from when building their loadouts.
