Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know to unlock the Mamba Mentality perk in NBA 2K24 MyCareer mode, including all quests and how to complete them to make the most of all its benefits.

The NBA 2K franchise always paid tribute to Kobe Bryant with a special perk called Mamba Mentality, and this valuable boost is also featured in the newest NBA 2K24.

For those who are not familiar, the Mamba Mentality perk replaces your MyCareer player’s Double Takeover perk and provides a significant boost to all categories. Additionally, you can equip a special perk alongside Mamba Mentality.

However, players must unlock the Mamba Mentality perk, and to do that, they need to complete a series of quests. Here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock Mamba Mentality in NBA 2K24.

NBA 2K24: How to unlock the Mamba Mentality perk

To unlock the Mamba Mentality perk in NBA 2K24, you must complete three quests in My Career mode:

Quest	How to complete
Decelerator quest at Chris Brickley’s Gym	Complete 3v3 and 5v5 scrimmages
Second Chance quest at Chris Brickley’s Gym	Earn a combination of 50 points + Rebounds + Assists + Blocks + Steals at Brickley’s Gym
Minimizer quest at The Art of Shooting Facility	Earn three Stars in Art of Shooting Gym

It’s important to note that you won’t be able to unlock Mamba Mentality in a single day since the 3v3 scrimmages are available from Monday to Thursday, while the 5v5 scrimmages are available from Friday to Sunday.

Once you unlock the Mamba Mentality perk in NBA 2K24, you’ll be able to select a secondary takeover.

Finally, according to what the Gameplay Producer Michael Mainzer mentioned, the Art of Shooting Gym is only available once a week.

3v3 Brickley scrimmages are available during the week (Mon-Thu) while 5v5 Brickley scrimmages run on the weekends (Fri-Sun).
