How to get Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack DLC

Players can get the Kombat Pack DLC for Mortal Kombat 1 by purchasing it separately from the platform they bought the game from.

Additionally, you can also get the Kombat Pack by purchasing either the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium or Kollector’s Edition. Both editions include the six additional and five Kameo characters coming with the Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack DLC characters and release schedule

Here’s the complete list of characters included in the first MK1 Kombat Pack along with when they are coming to the game:

  • Omni-Man – November 9, 2023
  • Tremor (Kameo) – November 9, 2023
  • Quan Chi – Winter 2023/2024
  • Peacemaker – Winter 2023/2024
  • Ermac – Spring 2024
  • Homelander – Spring 2024
  • Takeda Takahashi – Summer 2024
  • Ferra (Kameo) – TBA
  • Janet Cage (Kameo) – TBA
  • Khameleon (Kameo) – TBA
  • Mavado (Kameo) – TBA

After taking a break from Mortal Kombat 11, both Quan Chi and Takeda will be back in action for Mortal Kombat 1 through its DLC. While Ermac made an appearance in Mortal Kombat 11’s Krypt mode, players haven’t been able to use the character since Mortal Kombat X, so they’re excited to reunite with the red warrior.

The first Kombat Pack will also have three collaborations with popular franchises to keep the tradition going. This time, Homelander from The Boys, Peacemaker from The Suicide Squad and his own TV show, and Omni-Man from Invincible will join the fight in the MK1.

Players already had a taste of Superman in the two Injustice games developed by NetherRealm, but the addition of Homelander and Omni-Man will bring a more violent and extremely bloody twist to that type of character. Peacemaker, on the other hand, could be similar to Stryker in terms of gameplay, but we’ll have to wait and see to learn more about him.
