There’s no theater mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Fans who may be looking around for a theater mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be disappointed.

Infinity Ward will not be having theater mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

During our review event in LA last week, the studio confirmed that they decided against investing resources into building theater mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare because of the amount of work it does take to build and connect with the overall the game.

The studio decided to focus on gameplay and content aspects for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare versus having a theater mode.

Theater mode has been in only select Call of Duty games over the years. Many developers have talked about how intense it is to build this into the games with the work it takes to record each gameplay and store it.
