With Modern Warfare 2 on the way, players are sure to become closer to the main characters through the Campaign, but Captain Price’s actor has already revealed the character’s favorite football team.

Modern Warfare 2 is just around the corner, with both Warzone and Vanguard in their final season. While we have quite a lot of information on the maps, weapons, and modes to expect for MW2’s Multiplayer, players are looking forward to diving into the Campaign with early access.

The Campaign sees players following arguably the most iconic character in any Call of Duty Campaign, Captain Price, as well as other classic characters like Ghost, Soap, and the rest of Task Force 141.

While we have some details on the plot of Modern Warfare 2’s Campaign, being a direct sequel to Modern Warfare (2019), not much is known on the personal side of things, at least until now.

Oddly enough, Captain Price actor Barry Sloane revealed information regarding which English football team the character supports, giving fans a good bit of trivia and further understanding of the character’s personal life.

When asked which football team Captain Price supports on Twitter, Barry Sloane replied, “Price is a Liverpool fan. #CaptainPrice #ModernWarfare2.”

While it isn’t anything major, it definitely provides more depth to Captain Price, and closely ties the actor with the character even further, as Barry Sloane also supports the same team, and he’s actually from Liverpool.

Barry answered many other questions about the character on Twitter, providing depth and understanding like what Captain Price likes to do in his spare time, “He likes to Fish. He’s also currently writing a self help book. Under a pseudonym.”

If you’d like to know more about Captain Price, definitely check out Barry Sloane’s Twitter, as he has answered even more questions such as what Captain Price eats before a mission and his favorite condiment with Bacon.
