Madden 24 players furious as disabled fatigue opens door for “toxic” plays
EA SportsAfter a series of new error reports, Madden 24 developers have decided to disable fatigue in Ultimate Team, and this is what the community had to say about it.
The new Madden 24 update has not worked as the developers intended. Some features led to new errors, and in an emergency decision, the developers decided to temporarily disable game fatigue in Madden Ultimate Team.
This way, Madden 24 players will not experience fatigue in their players until further notice, allowing them not to be substituted and enabling plays that could not be executed in the mid or late game because players were tired.
Reddit user ‘That_Scramble’ was the first to communicate this change in the r/MaddenUltimateTeam subreddit, and community comments quickly followed.
A player expressed their thoughts on this and how it will impact Madden 24 Ultimate Team gameplay, “All H2H is going to be is non stop no huddle trips, Tight Ends switching between Verts and RPOs.”
This user quickly received many upvotes, some comments agreeing with them, and others mentioning that the issues of spamming have been present for a long time, “People were spamming No Huddle ever since the fatigue glitch became a thing. This changes nothing.”
These spammings have been causing many players to grow tired of playing Madden 24, as is the case with user ‘CasanovaCoverup’, “I literally just got burnt by this. Doesn’t surprise me that EA caters to its cheese fanbase.”
EA SportsAnother player completely disagreed with the temporary disabling of fatigue, stating that at least “More fatigue helped eliminate some cheese. Now the cheese is back. Madden will never be a balanced game.”
In the latest statement issued by EA Sports on X, they mention, “We’re aware and working to resolve an issue players are experiencing with the latest fatigue tuning,” and announced they will share any future updates or hotfixes on the MaddenNFLDirect account.
