Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to make hoverbike

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom allows you to build vehicles that you can use to explore Hyrule, including the hoverbike. If you want to move through the map quickly, then here’s how to make a hoverbike in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
When you hop into Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll see a larger Hyrule than ever before thanks to the inclusion of terrestrial, aerial, and vast subterranean regions. However, this extensive scope can make traversing these areas extremely difficult.
The good news is that the game lets you construct sophisticated vehicles, significantly adding to Link’s movement options. Surprisingly, one of the most practical vehicles is also the simplest to assemble, particularly in the initial stages of Tears of the Kingdom.
Here’s how to construct and effectively utilize the hoverbike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to build a hoverbike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
For starters, you’re going to need two Fans and one Steering Stick to successfully make a hoverbike in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
If you’re low on Zonai Devices or don’t have the required items in stock, we suggest heading to the Zonai Device Dispenser near Torin Wetland, by Tarrey Town, which has the Steering Stick you’re looking for.

Once you’ve gathered the materials to create a hoverbike in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’re ready to merge them together. To create a hoverbike in TOTK, simply use Ultrahand to connect the two Fans to the Steering Stick.
To get a properly functioning hoverbike that’s easy to control, the placement of the fans is key. Attaching the Fans at the proper angle is of the utmost importance. Instead of placing the Fans flat, you’re looking to have them slightly tilted as seen in the image above.
In this approach, you achieve both elevation and forward momentum. If both are directed downwards, you’ll gain altitude, yet your battery might deplete before any significant distance is covered. By angling them, you ensure not only a successful ascent but also sufficient forward progression.
It may be a frustrating process that takes a few tries to perfect, but once you get the angles right, the hoverbike is well worth your time. We recommend trying one out as it’s not only incredibly useful to get around Hyrule, but it’s great to explore the Depths.
