The Division Heartland is Ubisoft’s upcoming entry into the free-to-play shooter genre, inspired by The Division games. For those interested, here’s how you can register to play the game early.

Ubisoft have announced a variety of cracking games that are set to release in the near future, including the return of the Assassin’s Creed series, and two new Tom Clancy’s The Division games that will bring the experience to new sets of players.

The Division Heartland was revealed at the Ubisoft Forward 2022 event, where players got to see what The Division developers have been working on for the past few years.

As well as showing some gameplay and introducing players to Silver Creek, the setting for the game, players also learned about the early playtests/beta for The Division Heartland.

How to register for The Division Heartland beta playtest

Although the release date is yet to be announced, The Division Heartland devs have revealed the details needed to register for the early closed playtest.

Simply follow these steps in order to sign up for early access to the free-to-play multiplayer survival-action shooter set in The Division universe:

  1. Visit The Division Heartland website
  2. Click the “Register Now” button on the top right of the screen
  3. Select your preferred platform (PC, Xbox, or PlayStation)
  4. Sign into your Ubisoft account, which can be through your chosen platform’s account
  5. Await an invite via email concerning The Division Heartland playtest
