Gibraltar has received his own Apex Legends special edition which comes with two exclusive legendary skins, including the “King of the Sea” Gibraltar Skin. Here’s an overview of the whole pack.

Respawn Entertainment provide many of the Apex Legends characters with their own edition packs which come with some exclusive new items. This was the case for Lifeline, Bloodhound, Octane, and Pathfinder.

Gibraltar is one of the eight founding Legends in the game, and he’s the latest Legend to get his very own special edition pack. Here’s everything you need to know about it, from the release date to its contents.

How to get the Apex Legends Gibraltar special edition skins

You can get the Apex Legends Gibraltar Edition on PlayStation or Xbox by visiting the online store, and on PC by heading over to Origin or Steam. Once you’re at the Apex Legends add-ons section, you’ll see the Gibraltar Edition there.

After purchasing it, you will immediately gain access to the special edition pack’s contents. It contains a total of 5 items, including 2 exclusive skins:

  • Exclusive Legendary “King of the Sea” Gibraltar Skin
  • Exclusive Legendary “Terror of the Deep” Devotion Skin
  • Exclusive “Lone Shark” Gun Charm
  • Exclusive “Making Waves” Badge
  • 1,000 Apex Coins

Respawn also released the Mayhem Pack for Season 8, which includes an exclusive Fuse skin and 600 Apex coins, so you could try springing for that while browsing as well.

How much is the Gibraltar Edition?

You currently have to pay $19.99 / £17.99 to get the Apex Legends Gibraltar Edition, but waiting for sales is also an option. Some of the other Legends like Octane and Pathfinder had the prices reduced for their special edition packs on Origin.

Considering that the Legendary skin is extremely expensive on its own, combining it with the 1,000 Apex coins makes this is a pretty good deal. It’s absolutely worth saving up a bit to purchase the special edition for yourself.

You can also get yourself some cool recolored variants of classic skins at the ongoing Anniversary collection event in Apex Legends, so be sure to check that out as well.
