Sethos is a newly introduced character in Genshin Impact, so if you want to know more details on the unit, here is everything leaked and confirmed about him.

Version 4.7 will see introduce three new characters to Genshin Impact – Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. While the earlier two characters are five-star, Sethos will be a four-star addition.

Genshin Impact Sethos leaked release date

Sethos is leaked to be available in phase 1 of version 4.7, which will be released on June 5, 2024. HoYoverse have already confirmed Sethos for 4.7, so he’ll either arrive on the said date or three weeks later with phase 2 which begins on June 26, 2024.

Genshin Impact Sethos leaked kit

Sethos is confirmed to be an Electro character in Genshin Impact that’ll wield a Bow. The leaked kit suggests that he’ll be a DPS unit and here’s a full breakdown:

Normal Attack – Royal Reed Bowmanship

Normal Attack: Performs 3 consecutive strikes, standard set of bow attacks.
Charged Attack: A standard aim shot. Holding it fires Electro arrows, and it has further two charge levels—Charge Level 1 and Charge Level 2. Level 2 has a different animation and fires a shot that pierces enemies. Level 1 is similar to other Elemental bow attacks.
Plunging Attack: Same as any other Bow user, a small AoE attack.

Elemental Skill – Ancient Rite: Thunderous Roar of Sand

Sethos deals AoE Electro DMG to enemies and quickly retreats back. If the Electro DMG triggers Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Quicken, Aggravate, Hyperbloom, or Electro Swirl reactions, Sethos will recover a certain amount of Elemental Energy.

Elemental Burst – Secret Rite: Twilight Shadowpiercer

Sethos will enter a state called Twilight Meditation which will convert his normal attacks into Electro and all new shots, Dusk Bolts, will pierce enemies. The damage of attacks will increase based on Sethos’ Elemental Mastery and it is considered Charged Attack DMG.

Elemental Burst Stats (level 10):

Twilight Meditation Duration: 8s

Sethos Talent Passives

Black Kite’s Enigma: The time required for the charged attack is decreased by 0.285s based on every Energy Sethos has under 20. It’ll consume Energy once the time is saved. If a Level 1 charged attack is fired, it’ll only consume 50% of the said Energy.
The Sand King’s Boon: Every 15s, Sethos will get a special “Scorching Sandshade” effect that’ll have his piercing charged attack’s damage increased by 600% of his EM. The effect lasts for only 5 seconds, but if Sethos hits his first shot under the effect, the cooldown will reset.

Sethos Constellations

C1: The CRIT Rate of his piercing charged attack is increased by 15%.
C2: Sethos will gain a 15% Electro DMG bonus (up to 2 stacks) if the following conditions are met:
- He Regains Energy through his Elemental Skill
- Uses his Elemental Burst
- Uses Energy from his first passive, Black Kite’s Enigma, to save charged attack time.
C3: Increase Normal Attack level by 3.
C4: If Sethos’ charged attack hits an opponent, all nearby party members will gain 80 Elemental Mastery.
C5: Increase Sethos Elemental Burst level by 3.
C6: If Sethos’ piercing charged attack hits an opponent, the Energy consumed through the first passive to save time will be refunded. It can trigger every 15s.
