Genshin Impact has a fixed banner cycle that allows the developers to release new characters and weapons with every update. Here’s everything to know about the current and upcoming character and weapon banners in Genshin Impact.

It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that Genshin Impact has risen to prominence because of its characters. Every character in the game ends up having their own fandom and this explains why the developers have tried to introduce new ones with every update.

Genshin Impact characters and weapons are featured on banners that change every three weeks. A five-star character and some four-star characters have a boosted drop rate and the game’s pity system guarantees them to you as well.

We’re currently experiencing Genshin Impact version 3.5 which includes Dehya and Cyno banners. While Dehya and Cyno are the featured five-star characters, these four-star characters also have a boosted drop rate:

Barbara (Hydro Catalyst user)
Bennett (Pyro Sword user)
Collei (Dendro Bow user)

When will the current Genshin Impact character banner end?

Dehya and Cyno banners were released with Genshin Impact version 3.5 on March 1, 2023, and they’ll leave the game on March 21, 2023.

What is the current Genshin Impact weapon banner?

In Genshin Impact version 3.5, the featured five-star weapons are the Beacon of the Reed Sea Claymore and Staff of the Scarlet Sands Polearm. The four-star weapons with the boosted drop rate are:

The Alley Flash (Sword)
Alley Hunter (Bow)
Sacrificial Greatsword (Claymore)
Dragon’s Bane (Polearm)
Eye of Perception (Catalyst)

Like the character banner, the current weapon banner will also leave the game on March 21, 2023.

During the second phase of Genshin Impact version 3.5, Travelers will witness Ayaka and Shenhe re-run banners. The only confirmed four-star character so far is Mika who’ll be making his debut.

As for the weapon banner, we can expect it to feature the five-star signature weapons for Shenhe and Ayaka. These are the Calamity Shifter Polearm and the Mistsplitter Reforged Sword, respectively.

If there are no unprecedented delays, the next Genshin Impact character and weapon banners should be released on March 21, 2023. This is in accordance with the game’s fixed banner cycle of three weeks.
