Helldivers 2 features a variety of different enemies that act as obstacles on the way to spreading democracy. An enemy type that you’ll be tasked with taking out are Devastators. With this in mind, here’s where to find Devastators in Helldivers 2 and how to kill them.

The Galactic War continues to rage on in Helldivers 2 with the community doing their best to keep the bugs and the bots at bay. In the meantime, the devs continue to address server issues and even bring various tweaks to the gameplay.

The recent offensive assault from the Automatons has caused players to divert focus toward red-zone planets. Many helldivers have even received a Personal Order requiring them to take out 20 Devastators.

Where to find Devastators in Helldivers 2

Since Devastators are part of Helldivers 2’s Automatons faction, they can be found on planets on the left side of the map. Simply land on a planet occupied by bots and you should easily come across Devastators no matter the difficulty setting. Some locations you can check out are Mavelon Creek and Ubanea.

How to kill Devastators in Helldivers 2

The best way to kill Devastators in Helldivers 2 is by landing a precise headshot using weapons like the Railgun and Autocannon. Despite their intimidating appearance, Devastators are fairly brittle and you should be able to deal with them pretty easily.

These medium-sized bots come in two other variations. They include Heavy Devastators, who wield a large ballistic shield, and Rocket Devastators, who can unleash a barrage of rockets in your direction.

The method for taking out both variations remains the same as armor-piercing weapons like the Railgun will do the trick. But it would be wise to get out of the Rocket Devastator way as it can blow to you bits quickly.
