All UFC 5 game modes

Fight Week

The first game mode the devs unveiled and explained during the UFC 5 Deep Dive is the Fight Week mode. In this mode, EA Sports will update the most important UFC fights weekly, allowing UFC 5 players to earn UFC 5 coins while trying to predict the winner of the fight, the method of victory, the round in which it will end, and whether that combat will be considered the Fight of the Night.

But that’s not all, as players will also have the opportunity to compete in all these fights by completing the weekly objectives of UFC 5 Fight Week. They can earn rewards ranging from cosmetics for their avatars to celebrations and extra coins that can be used in all game modes.

Online Career mode

Here, players will have the opportunity to create their own avatar and compete against players from all over the world to climb divisions and become a UFC champion.

According to the devs, “the Online Career Mode will feature Skill-Based Matchmaking, division progression, and title chases across four different divisions.” As players engage in online matches, they will earn Evolution Points that can be used to enhance their fighter’s attributes and perks.

Offline Career mode

On the other hand, the traditional offline version of Career mode will receive some changes, primarily new cinematics, locations, and the return of Coach Davis to guide you on your journey to becoming UFC champion.

One of the most significant changes in the classic Offline Career k0de will be the ability for players to skip the entire Training Camp so that they don’t waste time completing it and can get into the octagon faster.

Ranked Online

EA Sports have announced that one of the most popular modes from previous editions will be back in UFC 5, the Ranked Online mode. Here, players can choose their favorite fighter and compete against other players as they progress through the global or friends’ leaderboards.

Similar to the last installment, UFC 5 Ranked Online will be divided into 20 divisions and will feature challenges to earn experience for your Battle Pass.

Play Now

The Play Now mode is back in UFC 5, but this time the developers have added two new modes: Backyard and Kumite.

You can fight in an improvised octagon in Play Now Backyard mode.

In the Backyard mode, players will compete in an improvised octagon in a backyard and have five rounds of three minutes each to cause the most damage to their opponent and win the fight. In this mode, the winner is determined by who inflicts the most damage.

On the other hand, the Kumite mode will consist of a single 25-minute round. Unlike previous installments, in UFC 5 Kumite, the fights will be much slower than usual. If neither of the fighters is knocked out within 25 minutes, the fight will end in a draw.

That’s all you need to know about all UFC 5 game modes and new features.
