Even though Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the original title, it still boasts a plethora of highly engaging mechanics that are driven by the players’ choices. Funny enough, paying attention in class is one of them, so here’s whether you should sleep in class in Persona 3 Reload.

The highly acclaimed Atlus IP is back with a new remake in the form of Persona 3 Reload, made in the same engine as Persona 5: Royal. Although it is almost the same game, it brings forward a brand new experience for many as the original was released back when PS2 was the go-to console.

Apart from engaging in combat, most of the time you will have enough free time to explore Port Island and mingle with the NPCs using choice-based interactions in Persona 3 Reload. One such event is obligatory classes, where you can choose to either pay attention or sleep during a lesson.

Here’s whether you should sleep in class in Persona 3 Reload.

Persona 3 Reload: Should you sleep or stay awake in class?

Surprisingly, you are free to choose any option in some Persona 3 Reload classes, and it depends on which Social Stat you are aiming to raise. Sleeping nets +1 in Courage, and paying attention +1 Academics.

You can also answer specific questions during class, from different angles and subjects.

As mentioned earlier, you should choose to stay awake or sleep in class depending on the Social Stat you are aiming for. Sleeping in class surely sounds quite inviting as going through boring lectures might not be for everybody, and it also gives you bonus Courage in Persona 3 Reload.

However, keep in mind that it will take a hit at your Academic Social Stat. On the other hand, paying attention in classes would be great for your Academic stats, and is further essential for unlocking the Empress, Sun, and Temperance Social Links in Persona 3 Reload.

As all Social Stats and Links are quite important and unlock several branching paths in the storyline, you should consider this as a trade-off, and make the decision depending on what your character currently needs.

Keep in mind that you will also be asked a random question during class, which will definitely be on the midterms, so be prepared for that as well. Aside from that, there are no added disadvantages of sleeping in class, and won’t spoil the fun at any point during your playthrough in Persona 3 Reload.
