Pentiment, the indie Xbox exclusive that gained praise from many history and art enthusiasts, is officially coming to other platforms. Here’s the release date for Pentiment on Nintendo Switch and everything we know about its PS5 launch.

The February 2024 Xbox podcast revealed that four exclusive games will soon become available on the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, and Pentiment enthusiast can’t hold their excitement. The news unsurprisingly received a mixed reaction from the gaming community, but if you’re a fan of historical games with great art direction and writing, you might be in for a treat.

Pentiment, alongside Grounded, Sea of Thieves, and Hi-Fi Rush, is one of the four Xbox exclusives coming to other platforms. It was one of the most highly-rated games in 2022, and considering its simple graphics and gameplay, Switch might be one of the best platforms to play Pentiment.

Pentiment Nintendo Switch release date

Pentiment is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 22, 2024. This was announced during the February 21, 2024 Nintendo Partner Showcase event, which also confirmed Grounded’s April release date.

Pentiment and Hi-Fi Rush will be the first Xbox exclusives to be released on other platforms. This will be followed by the release of Grounded and Sea of Thieves.

Pentiment PlayStation 4 & 5 release date

Pentiment is also coming to PS5 on February 22, 2024. What’s more, Microsoft confirmed the game will also launch on PS4 on the same date, giving even more users a great title to try.
