Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is gearing up for a new iOS closed beta test, and here’s all you need to know to get a chance to try Square Enix’s new mobile game in 2024.

Kingdom Hearts Missing Link is the next game from Square Enix and the third mobile entry in the line of Tetsuya Nomura’s hit crossover between Final Fantasy and Disney.

Set in Scala ad Caelum, a mysterious city that players visited as Sora in Kingdom Hearts 3, the game will feature Disney characters as aids in battle. Like Pokemon Go or Monster Hunter Now, it will be a GPS-based game, so here’s how to join its latest closed beta test.

The Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link tests will be different for each platform, and the new iOS closed beta test for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will run from May 2, 7 AM (UTC) to May 10, 9 AM (UTC), 2024.

Another iOS test was held from November 29 until December 8, 2023. Meanwhile, Android users still have to wait as Square Enix has confirmed a new delay of the Android beta test, which is allegedly coming one week after the Phase 2 iOS beta finishes.

The Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link Phase 2 closed beta is set for Australia and the United Kingdom only.

The GPS-based game will only span said regions but stay tuned for more information on additional regions being added to the test.

To apply for the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta test, visit the link on the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link website and follow these instructions.

  1. On the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link website select “Beta Test Application” in the top-right corner.
  2. Tick the boxes labeled Closed Beta Test Application Requirements, Closed Beta Test Precautions, Closed Beta Test Tester Agreement, and Privacy Policy.
  3. Fill out the questionnaire and provide an email address. Go over the results on the next page and hit “Send.”
  4. Players can sign up for the Phase 2 Closed Beta test from April 22 to April 26, 2024.

Once these steps are completed, your application for the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta test will be ready and submitted. Square Enix will select up to 3000 people for the Phase 2 beta test, across all platforms, and selected users will be notified via email.

It’s important to note that progress made in the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta will not carry over to the full game.
