How to play Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta: Dates, sign-up, more

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is the new mobile game from Square Enix, and the Final Fantasy creators are gearing up for its launch. Players can now sign up for its early closed beta test in 2023, and here’s how to participate.

After a year of no updates on Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, Square Enix finally released a trailer with more information and a closed beta test date. The new mobile game is set to launch in 2024, following the action RPG genre of the series with new Keyblade Wielders.

Set in Scala ad Caelum, a mysterious city that players visited as Sora in Kingdom Hearts 3, the game will feature Disney characters as aids in battle. Following games like Pokemon Go or Monster Hunter Now, Missing-Link will be a GPS-based game, taking players out to do activities on a map based on the real world.

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will be available in 2024 for iOS and Android devices, and you can sign up now for the closed beta test. The tests will be different for each platform, and the iOS closed beta test for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will run first from November 29 at 7:00 AM (UTC) until December 8.

Square Enix confirmed that a test for Android users is planned, but users of this OS will need to wait a little longer. Android closed beta test for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will take place in January 2024, with no specific release date set yet.

As of now, the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta is set for Australia and the United Kingdom only. The GPS-based game will only span said regions but stay tuned for more information on additional regions being added to the test.

To apply for the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta test, visit the link on the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link website and follow these instructions.

  1. On the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link website select “Beta Test Application” in the top-right corner.
  2. Tick the boxes labeled Closed Beta Test Application Requirements, Closed Beta Test Precautions, Closed Beta Test Tester Agreement, and Privacy Policy.
  3. Fill out the questionnaire and provide an email address. Go over the results on the next page and hit “Send.”

Once these steps are completed, your application for the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta test will be ready and submitted. It’s important to note that progress made in the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta will not carry over to the full game.
