How to complete beach puzzles in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 – Cliffside & Hiddenfolk solutions

There are two main beach puzzles you’ll need to complete in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 to reach the Sea Giant Sjavarrisi. Here are the solutions for the Cliffside and Hiddenfolk puzzles in Hellblade 2.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is filled with intricate puzzles to solve before you can continue on your journey to kill the Giants ravaging the land. The second Giant you need to face is Sjavarrisi, and there are a couple of puzzles to solve before you find the Giant. 

Here are the solutions to the Hellblade 2 puzzles on the Cliffside and the beach, starting from when you meet Astrior to when you need to come face-to-face with Sjavarrisi himself. 

How to solve Cliffside beach puzzle in Hellblade 2

The first puzzle you need to solve in Chapter 5 of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 comes just after you fight the Duergar that Astrior leaves you with.

Once you have fought the Duergar, you’ll walk along the main path for a short spell before you are faced with a gate that has three Symbols you need to find. Here are their locations: 

Symbol 1

Turn around after you’ve Focused on the gate and look for a small hill behind you. Climb up here, and face left to look for the first Symbol. 

The Symbols are painted in yellow moss, and this one looks like a circle with a rounded tick above it. Maneuver yourself to line up with the yellow moss, and Focus to lock it in. 

Symbol 2

After you’ve found the first Symbol, look behind you for a large bubble over the cliff side and next to the gate that you must open.

Focus on this bubble, and a pathway will open a path on the far left side of the area. Go through this pathway and look to your left to find the second Symbol in the yellow moss. This looks like a circle with a rounded tick to its left. 

Symbol 3

Stay on the pathway you were on to find the second Symbol and look for another bubble just to the left while you walk down it. Focus on this bubble to change the landscape again, and follow the pathway right to a small rundown building. 

Stand right next to the building to align the yellow moss to show you the third Symbol. This one looks like a circle with a rounded tick to its right. Lock it in, and the gate should open for you now. 

Remember to use the bubble in this area to change the landscape so you can go back to the gate.

How to solve beach puzzle in Hellblade 2

The beach puzzle in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 has three Symbols to find, and once you unlock them, you will be able to find the Hiddenfolk and discover Sjavarrisi’s true name. Here are their locations: 

Symbol 1

Once you have Focused on the gate and seen the Symbols you need to find, turn around to spot a large bubble over the ocean. Focus on this bubble, and then follow these steps: 

1. Turn left and go behind the broken-down ship. 
2. Once you are behind the ship, look at the bubble across the ocean again and Focus. 
3. You should have ledges to climb up on your left. 
4. Climb the ledges and follow the path until you find a second bubble.
5. Focus on this bubble, then navigate back from where you came.
6. A new pathway should be open on your left, a gap just before the ledges you climbed from. Go through this gap.
7. Follow the pathway until you see yellow moss in the shape of an F along the ship’s masts.
8. Focus on this Symbol, and you’ll have unlocked the first key to the gate.

Symbol 2

Once you have found the first Symbol, head back down to the starting area where you can see the bubble over the ocean. Focus on it once more, then follow these steps: 

1. Go back from where you originally entered the area and climb up the ledge.
2. Turn left and follow the path until you can’t anymore, and Focus on the bubble over the ocean.
3. The path should be clear now. Continue following it and look for a trident shape in yellow moss on the ship’s masts.
4. Focus on this Symbol, and you will have unlocked the second key.

Symbol 3

After you have found the second Symbol, continue down the path you are on. You will find yourself in a second beach area. Look for a bubble on the left side, also floating above the ocean. Focus on it, then follow these steps: 

1. Assuming you are facing the bubble, climb up the ledge behind you, away from the path you just came from.
2. Follow the path until you can’t anymore. Look for another bubble to your right and Focus on it.
3. Cross the bridge you’ve created and follow the path to a third area.
4. Look back at the bubble across the ocean and Focus on it to clear the way. 
5. Continue following the path until you reach a broken-down building. 
6. Enter the building and look out the left window to find the third F-like Symbol. 
7. Focus on it, and you will have unlocked all the keys to the gate. 

Remember to Focus on the bubbles on your way back to make sure you change the landscape around you and get back to the starting area. Once you have made it, the gate will open for you and you will have completed the puzzle.
