Winterfest has returned to Fortnite and so has Sgt Winter. The popular NPC is known to make an appearance during the holiday season, so here’s where to find Sgt Winter in Fortnite.

Fortnite Winterfest 2023 has brought some festivity to the Battle Royale title. The Christmas-themed event has arrived with a brand-new LTM featuring many different quests to complete and rewards to earn. The annual event also offers numerous free presents to players through daily gifts, making it a great time to jump onto the Battle Bus.

As always, Winterfest content from the past has been unvaulted, including the return of Sgt Winter. The generous NPC is part of some important Winterfest quests, which makes finding him essential.

With this in mind, here’s where to find Sgt Winter in Fortnite.

Sgt Winter location in Fortnite

Fortnite‘s Sgt Winter can be found at the Winterburg landmark, which is a small island situated at the top of the map. He is walking around near the center of the island and is pretty easy to spot. This is the only location where you can find Sgt Winter.

The easiest way to get to Winterburg is by dropping there from the start. It’ll be a long glide but this is certainly the most direct way of getting to the island and finding the Sgt Winter NPC. Besides giving him a visit, you’ll also need to interact with Sgt Winter to complete some Winterfest quests.

How to collect present & emote with Sgt Winter in Fortnite

Walking up to Sgt Winter will prompt him to throw a massive present in your direction. To unwrap the loot, you’ll have to hack the present down using your pickaxe.

If you’re looking to emote with him, just go up to Sgt Winter and trigger it.
