How to visit landmarks in Fortnite
To visit a landmark in Fortnite, you simply need to look for it on the map and go to that area. Once you reach it, its name will appear on the bottom left corner of the screen.
If it’s the first time you visit that landmark, you’ll receive some XP for discovering it. You might have done that unintentionally many times, as each new season brings fresh landmarks to the island.
What are landmarks in Fortnite?
Landmarks are small areas, buildings, and locations spread across the Fortnite map. They’re usually tied to the season’s or chapter’s theme and can be found between named locations.
Unlike named locations, landmarks’ names don’t appear on the map. The only way to know if you’re in one is by visiting it and paying attention to the name displayed on the bottom left corner of the screen.
Since landmarks don’t appear when you open Fortnite’s map, these special locations can’t be Hot Spots in matches.
