How to get the Impossible Escape umbrella in Fortnite Season 6
Epic Games have added the new Escapist umbrella to Fortnite as part of an LTM in Chapter 2, Season 6, and you can use it to glide across the battle royale’s map. Here’s how you can get your hands on it.
Fortnite’s Season 6 update brought a ton of new content to the battle royale, including various map changes changes, and brand new weapons. However, players are always more interested in the game’s cosmetic items.
Umbrellas are deployable items that you can use to glide around the map, and another one is now available as part of the new Impossible Escape LTM. Here’s what you need to do in order to win the Escapist umbrella.
How to win the Fortnite Impossible Escape LTM
Fortnite’s new Impossible Escape LTM will have you search Choppas to repair across the map while battling a ton of enemies. You can try this mode in both PVP and PVE, with both having different challenges.
In PVE, there will be three Choppas for you to repair and fly, while PVP only offers one for each team. Finishing the LTM in PVE will get you the ‘Odds Loading Screen’, and PVP players will be awarded the ‘Escapist umbrella.’
While the map will be covered in fog for this LTM, you’ll be able to spot your objectives by climbing the Guardian towers. You’ll need to be wary of enemy guards, as well as other threats like wolves and raptors.
This LTM also has a day/night cycle that can make things a bit more difficult since enemies can easily overwhelm you in the dark. For that reason, we recommend that you immediately find other players to form a squad.
If you and your squad are able to get off the island, and successfully complete the Fortnite Impossible Escape LTM, then you’ll be rewarded with the Escapist umbrella glider.
Epic Games have confirmed that this mode will be available until May 25, 2021, so be sure to try it out before it ends!
