Fortnitemares is here, bringing all things that go bump in the night to Fortnite. While there’s a ton of new content and challenges to complete, Epic Games have also opened up the Fortnitemares Escape Room Quests where players can earn free rewards, so here’s how.
It’s officially Halloween in Fortnite, with the Fortnitemares event going live as part of the 22.20 update. The Zero Build Horde Rush mode has arrived alongside the new Howler Claws item, and there are also plenty of skins to unlock.
Alongside the regular Fortnitemares Quests, players can complete the new Escape Room Quests for bonus Halloween-themed rewards. Here’s how to complete the challenges, all of the rewards, and when it wraps up.

How to complete Fortnitemares Escape Room Quests
Fortnite players looking to complete the Fortnitemares Escape Room Quests will need to head to the Escape Rooms website, log in, and then complete the Quests in each room.
Once a player completes all of the challenges in a certain room, they’ll earn a free reward and then advance to the next room. For example, Room 1 tasks players with catching 50 fish, eliminating opponents, and placing in the top 3.
Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of everything you have to do:
- Head to the Fortnitemares Escape Rooms website
- Log in to your Epic Games account
- Complete the tasks for your current room
- Check back once complete, then do the same for each room
Fortnitemares Escape Room Quest rewards
Each Fortnitemares Escape Room will bring a new in-game reward for Fortnite players, so here’s everything you can earn:
- Room 1 Reward: Spoooooky in-game cosmetic Emoticon
- Room 2 Reward: 20,000 XP
- Room 3 Reward: OctoEye in-game cosmetic Spray
- Rooms 4 Reward: Niterave in-game cosmetic Wrap
When do the Fortnitemares Escape Room Quests end?
The Fortnite Escape Room Quests will be live throughout all of the Fortnitemares event which wraps up on November 1 at 11 PM PT and November 2 at 2 AM ET / 6 AM GMT.
