Fortnite players beg for fan-favorite XP farming mode to return
Epic GamesThe Impostors mode was a fan-favorite in Fortnite back in 2021, and players desperately want it to return in Chapter 5 Season 3.
The Fortnite Impostors mode which was inspired by the popular game Among Us, quickly rose to popularity amongst players because of the XP it provided and how fun it was in general.
However, the amount of XP it provided was nerfed considerably before the mode was removed completely. In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, fans have been eagerly waiting for this mode to return.
Maf876 added a post on Reddit about wanting the mode to return, and players in the community soon rallied behind the post. While the XP gains are a reason for players wanting this mode to return, some pointed out that the animations and all the unique skins seen during the mode were also fun.
One player said, “Legit the whole reason I started playing Fortnite back in Chapter 2 Season 7,” while another added, “I tried Fortnite back in Ch1S2 and hated building. When this mode came out I reinstalled the game and got to level 70 just from Impostors alone.”
Many players shared their experience with the massive XP gains that this mode offered, but others were quick to point out that the mode was nerfed for the very same reasons.
With the XP gains in the game currently at an all-time low, players feel that reintroducing the Fortnite Impostors mode is the need of the hour, but it’s currently unclear if it will be added to the game in the near future.
