Fortnite Doctor Who crossover

It’s time for another crossover but this time, Fortnite has planned to deliver some eccentric space adventure with Doctor Who in action. According to leaks, Fortnite is collaborating with Doctor Who to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the show.

Fortnite is known for its frequent collaborations with almost every top name in pop culture making its way to the battle royale, including Marvel, Attack on Titan, Kid LAROI, and now a potential crossover with Doctor Who.

Popular dataminers have leaked information on Fortnite’s collaboration with Doctor Who. The well-known Sci-fi series, Doctor Who will arrive on Fortnite Island soon enough, along with skins, cosmetics, and other in-game items. Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite’s highly anticipated Doctor Who event.

Fortnite x Doctor Who event expected release date

Fans are buzzing with excitement ever since the leaks surfaced, but Epic Games have not given a specific release date. The current Chapter 4 Season 2 is likely to end around June 2023 and it’s unlikely that the collaboration will be released anytime soon. We believe that the Doctor Who crossover will arrive sometime around or before November 2023.

According to popular dataminer ShiinaBR, the crossover will come out in two waves. Epic Games have not released any dates for either of them but the second wave will not happen before 2024.

Fortnite Doctor Who leaked skins & cosmetics

Several leaks from popular dataminers including iFireMonkey and ShiinaBR have surfaced on the internet with new skins, cosmetics, and other in-game items coming along with the Doctor Who crossover.

Both have mentioned that we are likely to get David Tennant’s 14th and Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor outfits along with two pickaxes (Sonic Staff and Dalek Manipulator Arm), one glider (Tardis), and one emote (Psychic Paper) as part of the first wave.

The leaks have also mentioned an event pass that includes free cosmetic items. The following cosmetics will appear in the Item Shop at a later date: Loading Screen, Wrap, Glider, Emoticon, Spray, Banner, Emote, and Back Bling. Currently, we are not aware of how to obtain the event pass but we will update the guide as we find more information.

Fortnite Doctor Who leaked map changes & weapons

Plenty of changes will be seen in the Fortnite map, starting with U.N.I T. outposts with interactable objects that will help you during quests. Some of these quests will ask you to investigate a Meep Star Cruiser while others will ask you to scan the Residual Energy.

Additionally, you will be able to complete these quests using the new weapons: U.N.I.T Advanced Rifle and Wrarth Warrior. These will be added as in-game weapons for players to use and eliminate others during combat. However, we are yet to know how to use the weapons and will have to wait on more information from Epic Games.

Epic Games will also be releasing a Doctor Who Creative map that will have voice acting and a Beep the Meep spray. This is a free reward for viewing the show’s 60th Anniversary trailers on the Creative Map. Lastly, the second wave will feature a Drums Bundle and Real Money Bundle that will include skins & V-Bucks but it all depends on how well the first wave performs.
