The Fortnite 23.50 update brings new content to the game and irons out some bugs. Here are the full patch notes for the Fortnite 23.50 update and a breakdown of everything that’s arrived.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is almost upon us, but the devs are showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to updates. Players have been treated to exciting crossovers like The Witcher and Dead Space in recent weeks, as well as the Most Wanted event.
But the next patch is never too far away, and 23.50 has arrived with another content drop to tide players over until the next season.

Cipher Quests in Fortnite 23.50 update
Unique cosmetics are available through the Cipher Quests.New challenges have arrived with Fortnite’s 23.50 update, with the Cipher Quests bringing new items to unlock each day until March 7, 2023.
The Cipher Quests come with “unencrypted Quests that have clear objectives, and an encrypted Quest with an objective that’s… inconclusive.” You’ll need to use the codes to figure out the final objective.
A new Cipher Quest will be added each day until March 7, but they’ll all be available until March 10. Rewards will be granted for completing a certain amount of Quests, so here are the requirements and rewards:
- 7 unencrypted Cipher Quests: Keep the Peace Spray
- 15 unencrypted Cipher Quests: Order Up Loading Screen
- 24 unencrypted Cipher Quests: Deciphered Emoticon
- 3 encrypted Cipher Quests: Circuitry Wrap
Six Shooter and Infantry Rifle unvaulted in Fortnite 23.50
The Six Shooter and Infantry Rifle have been unvaulted.The classic Six Shooter and Infantry Rifle have returned to Fortnite with the 23.50 update, and can be “found from the ground, Chests, and Supply Drops.” You’ll also need to use them for the Cipher Quests.
New Witcher cosmetics
A new page of cosmetics for The Witcher’s Geral of Rivia will also be added after the first set arrived back in the 23.30 update. This should give fans the chance to earn a different look for the monster hunter by completing a series of challenges.
Fortnite 23.50 update patch notes & bug fixes
MISCELLANEOUS UPDATES
- The Oathbound Chest spawn rate has increased from 70% to 100%.
- Players have an increased chance to roll the Mechanical Archer Reality Augment.
- In v23.50, Reality Augments you haven’t unlocked will be more likely to unlock.
MAJOR BUG FIXES
- Fixed the issue that caused us to disable the Rift-jector Seat Reality Augment. This Reality Augment is now re-enabled.
