Forgotten Warzone 2 Battle Rifle has “best TTK” with one simple change
Warzone 2’s Battle Rifle weapon category isn’t the most popular among the community, but WhosImmortal believes players are sleeping on one of them.
Warzone 2 has so many weapons to choose from it can be challenging to select one. Usually, players will look at the Assault Rifle and SMG weapon categories, as these tend to host the most meta weapons in the game.
However, Warzone expert WhosImmortal decided to investigate the Battle Rifles, which are relatively underused in the battle royale. The Battle Rifles are interesting as they can be quite versatile thanks to their ability to switch from single fire to fully automatic and vice versa.
Many players will switch from single fire to full auto when using Battle Rifles, as the fire rate feels more damaging. However, this may not be the correct method of practice.
WhosImmortal compared the TTK of these weapons when in single fire and full auto using TrueGameData, discovering that the FTAC Recon actually has a deadly TTK when used in its default single fire mode.
When looking at the TTK stats for the FTAC Recon, WhosImmortal says it’s “pretty obvious” that the FTAC Recon’s TTK in full auto compared to single fire is “much worse.”
While the Warzone expert does state that single fire may have a “bigger skill gap,” if you can master the fire rate and get your trigger finger going, the “single fire FTAC is absolutely the way to go.”
WhosImmortal Warzone 2 FTAC Recon loadout
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
- Ammunition: .458 High Velocity
- Magazine: 15 Round Mag
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
First off, WhosImmortal has opted for the Schlager 3.4x optic, which he “really likes” for semi-automatic weapons. Despite being seemingly underwhelming, the 15 Round Mag is the largest for the FTAC Recon, and it definitely helps when securing kills.
As for the ammunition, the .458 High Velocity improves the weapon’s bullet velocity, making it more consistent at mid to long ranges. The Edge-47 Grip provides some much-needed recoil and aiming idle stability.
Lastly, the Sakin Tread-40 muzzle further improves the recoil control for the weapon, allowing you to hit more of your shots, which is vital for this Warzone 2 FTAC build.
Definitely give this weapon and loadout a go in Warzone 2, as the FTAC Recon in single fire actually has the highest TTK out of all the Battle Rifles in Warzone 2.
