For Warzone 2 players figuring out which Battle Rifle they would like to put to the test on Al Mazrah, here’s our full ranked list for every weapon in the category.
Having said that, Warzone 2 offers players a great in-between with the Battle Rifle category, which many may enjoy due to their extreme versatility.
So, let’s get into the best Battle Rifle to use in Warzone 2, as well as a breakdown of all the weapons in the category so you know which one to pick up.
Best Warzone 2 Battle Rifles ranked list
There are a total of four Battle Rifles in Warzone 2 Season 1, and here are all of the guns ranked from best to worst so you can decide which one is for you:
- FTAC Recon
Best Warzone 2 Battle Rifle
Warzone 2’s SO-14 comes in last place due to its lack of versatility compared to other weapons in the category and hard-to-tame recoil which will have you missing vital shots.
Unfortunately, the damage fall off at range means you’ll need to hit more than just a couple of shots, and its heavy recoil means you may not be able to get that shot off.
3. FTAC Recon
Next, we have the FTAC Recon, which lacks in fire rate and range, hence its position on the list.
That said, it has much better handling, mobility, and recoil control than the Warzone 2 SO-14, while also maintaining great damage. However, other Battle Rifles on this list just do their job better, especially when it comes to switching from single-fire to fully automatic.
While the Lachmann-762‘s damage is slightly worse than the FTAC Recon, this can easily be fixed with attachments to make it a two-shot kill. What sets it apart from the FTAC is its great fire rate, range, and capabilities in fully automatic.
This makes the weapon extremely versatile, as whether you need to pop shots off from range in single-fire or get someone down at close quarters, the Lachmann-762 is a solid choice.
1. TAQ-V – Best Battle Rifle in Warzone 2
The best Battle Rifle in Warzone 2 is the TAQ-V, which comes from the dominant Tactique Verte Weapon Platform. This weapon has the most all-around balanced stats, with best-in-class accuracy and recoil control, meaning you’ll hardly miss a shot.
The TAQ-V also has exceptional damage in both single-fire and fully automatic, which separates this weapon from the rest of Warzone 2’s Battle Rifles.
It’s also the only Battle Rifle that is naturally fully automatic, making it extremely versatile and the best choice for players looking to use an Assault Rifle that can also perform extremely well in single-fire for ranged engagements.
