EA FC 24 is almost here, but fans can already get a look at the first Team of the Week in Ultimate Team. Here’s everything you need to know about EA FC 24 TOTW 1, including featured players.

EA FC 24 is promising to be more than just a FIFA rebrand. With the inclusion of features such as player Evolutions and the addition of women’s stars in Ultimate Team, the game is set to introduce some fresh changes. However, promo cards, including Team of the Week, are expected to function as usual.

These special TOTW cards highlight the best performers from real-life football results. Alongside Icons, they will be some of the rarest cards during the first few months of Ultimate Team.

EA FC 24 TOTW 1 release date

The EA FC 24 TOTW 1 arrived on September 20, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST to coincide with the release of the Web App.

What are EA FC 24 TOTW cards?

EA FC 24 TOTW cards are upgraded versions of base cards handed out to the best-performing players during a particular round of international or domestic fixtures. They feature enhanced stats and a greater overall rating. The cards also look visually distinct, coming in a black color as opposed to the standard gold, silver, and bronze.

If a player earns multiple TOTW cards throughout the season, each new card will bear a higher rating than the one before it. TOTW cards also replace the featured player’s base card in packs, and they are only available for that entire week.

All new EA FC 24 Team of the Week features

This year’s Team of the Week in EA FC 24 will introduce three new features aimed at keeping these player items relevant and usable for a longer period throughout the season.

Here is the list of new features for the EA FC 24 Team of the Week:

• All TOTW Players will be at least 80+ OVR, which means that lower-rated OVR Players will receive larger upgrades
• All TOTW Players may receive relatively larger upgrades in key stats such as Pace or Dribbling to make sure they feel more balanced with other content released in a similar window
• All stats or skill upgrades will now carry through to the player’s next TOTW version.
