The highly anticipated release of EA FC 24 is just around the corner. On September 22, EA Sports will open the doors to early access, allowing users to enjoy all the new features of EA FC 24 Ultimate Team, including the return of Division Rivals, FUT Champions, and Squad Battles.

Division Rivals serves as the flagship online mode for Ultimate Team, but many players prefer the offline alternative: Squad Battles. This traditional game mode will help you improve your squad with incredible rewards. EA FC 24 Squad Battles format explained

It’s expected that EA FC 24 Squad Battles will follow a similar format as in FIFA 23, where players can compete in offline matches against community teams, earning points to climb the leaderboard.

However, the developers announced that they will reduce the match time from 6 minutes to 4 minutes per half, as well as decrease the total number of weekly matches from 40 to 32.

Your rank will be determined by the points you earn after each match. The amount of points you receive in each match will depend on two important factors: the difficulty level and the result. The number of points awarded for a match won on Semi-Pro, for example, won’t be the same as for a match won on Professional.

In Squad Battles, there are no draws, so if the match ends in a tie, there will be extra time, and if it remains level, everything will be decided in a penalty shootout.
