News of a brand new Icon Evolution coming to EA FC 24 has got players excited, and leakers have already revealed some important details surrounding it.

EA FC 24 brought a variety of new features to the series with a prominent example being player Evolutions in Ultimate Team. This feature lets cards that would otherwise be classified as SBC fodder get a solid shot at making it into your team.

You can use Evolutions to upgrade your cards by increasing stats or even giving them a new PlayStyle. Evolving cards is as simple as submitting a player item, completing a set of challenges, and collecting the final upgraded card.

The devs release new Evolutions frequently, with each of them carrying a different set of requirements and providing various bonuses. The game is poised to receive the upcoming TOTY event soon, but landing before it is EA FC 24’s first Icon Evolution as suggested by leaks.

According to leaks from reliable sources including ‘DonkTrading’ on X, the Icon Evolution will provide bonuses like +2 overall, +3 pace, +4 passing, +3 defending, and the Tiki Taka and First Touch PlayStyles to all eligible Icons.

As for the requirements, the Icon evo will be limited to a max rating of 89 along with other barriers such as 91 Passing and 86 Pace.

Word of the upcoming Evolution has already sparked a shift in the market. The best eligible Icon cards have climbed in value, and players like Socrates, Gianfranco Zola, and Robin van Persie sit amongst the most popular cards on FUTBIN at the moment.
